😱Welcome to Anfield :Henderson's Confirmed Jude Bellingham will sign for Liverpool next season

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson thinks it would be "amazing" to have Jude Bellingham in the Reds squad, but believes the talented youngster should choose the club he feels is right for him. The 19-year-old midfielder has emerged as one of the game's most promising young talents with his performances for Borussia Dortmund, as well as having excelled at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Gakpo will help Klopp sign this star midfielder for just 37 million

The Stourbridge-born player has been linked with links to Merseyside, Manchester City and Real Madrid, among others, although it emerged that Liverpool could struggle to manage a deal should the other two parties launch a bidding war, with the player's camp expected to demand a figure in the region of £100m (114m euros) for an eventual transfer.

Against this backdrop and ahead of the June transfer window, Henderson expressed his desire. "I just want him to be the best player he can be; of course, if it ends up being Liverpool, that would be amazing," said the midfielder. However, the Reds captain qualified: "It has to be the right thing for him, and every club you can think of will want him.... He has to think about himself and make sure he makes the right decision for his career. There's going to be a lucky club that will end up getting him, whether it's now or in a year or two. It's going to be a lucky club."

Hendo praises Bellingham

Bellingham has 10 goals and six assists in 34 appearances for Dortmund this season, prompting Henderson's analysis of the former Birmingham City man. "His potential is through the roof, really. He can be as good as he wants to be and he has the right mentality, which is the most important thing. He's a really special player and I can't believe his age and his mentality, how he gives his all in training and in games, everything. I've never seen him before, so I'm pretty sure he's going to be a very good player in the years to come," he added.
