NFO VS ARS: Match Preview, Kick-Off Time, Team News, And Possible Starting Lineup

Arsenal returns to Premier League action as they lock horns with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Tuesday evening.

The Gunners hit five goals past Crystal Palace last weekend, while Nuno Espirito Santo's side were held to a 0-0 draw with Bristol City in their FA Cup tie on Friday.

Match Preview

Having picked up four points in five previous games, Mikel Arteta's side returned to winning ways in style, hitting five goals past their London rivals Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium.

Gabriel Magalhaes opened the score sheet for the Gunners, heading home a beautiful corner to give his side a healthy lead.

The Brazilian defender played a major role in the second goal, forcing an own goal from Dean Henderson, while Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli also contributed to the five goals rout, with the latter netting twice in stoppage time to make matters worse for Nuno Espirito Santo's side.

In 90 minutes at the Emirates, the Gunners matched their goal tally from their miserable seven-game run between December 9 and January 7 - where only one of their games ended in victory - and third place in the table belongs to Mikel Arteta's men at present, although Aston Villa are only behind on account of a worse goal difference.

Kick Off Time

The match is scheduled to kick off by 8:30 pm (GMT+1) on Tuesday and will mark the 14th meetings between two sides in the top flight since 1992.

Team News

Mohamed Elneny and Takehiro Tomiyasu are still away on international commitment as their countries bid for a place in the 2023 AFCON quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, Jurrien Timber (ACL) and Fabio Vieira (groin) are still on the sidelines and will miss the game on Tuesday.

Declan Rice was subbed off with an apparent thigh concern in Arsenal's 5-0 success last weekend, and the England midfielder's availability for the game tomorrow is not certain.
